Based in Birmingham UK, the gammatones are:
Mark Wilkinson - Guitar and main vocals.
Gary Hebrard - Drums and vocals.
Tom Dean - Bass and vocals.
Mark was living in his painting studio in 2003 when old songwriting pal Tom came back home from 18 months of drinking too much and getting mugged by gypsies in France.
After 6 months of songwriting, recording and noisemaking,the new year was ushered in with an out of the blue visit from another old pal, former child prodigy Gary Hebrard. He hadn't played the drums for 10 years but he was still wicked.(and he can sing too!)
